Terms of compliance with the user privacy policy for the electronic training platform:
The platform does not collect any personal information about trainees, does not publish their names or their training activities on the platform, and does not allow access to them to anyone other than the work team responsible for managing the platform.
The information available about any user of the platform (trainer / trainee) is the information contained within the university’s active directory and is used to classify users, manage their permissions, and nominate courses for them without revealing their identity to anyone other than the platform management team.
The information sent by the user may be shared with other Saudi government agencies if your request is required to be completed and without referring to any of the parties (such as documenting certificates of completion of courses or accessing training content provided by a Saudi government agency that provides its services through the platform ).
University employers have the right to inquire about the certificates issued by the platform and presented by the trainee for various purposes such as promotions. In this case, the platform responds to the validity or invalidity of the certificate without this being considered a violation of the principle of user privacy.
Training entities with accounts on the training platform have the right to nominate lists of trainees for special courses, and in this case they have the right to request lists of the trainees’ performance in those courses.
It is allowed to issue statistical reports on training courses and trainees’ performance according to official requests without any indication of the personality of the trainees.
Follow-up and attendance reports in synchronous training sessions (if any) issued by the platform to the party organizing the course are not considered a violation of the privacy policy and are used only for the purposes of issuing attendance certificates and the like.
The platform has the right to collect data about the devices used to browse content for the purpose of improving the methods of displaying content without revealing the identity of a specific user to anyone other than those with authority.
The platform has the right to collect and analyze the questionnaires received at the end of training courses and use them for the purposes of improving the service and include them in the platform’s statistical reports without referring to the personal data of the trainees.
Academic authorities at the university have the right to request statistical reports on the training process without disclosing the identity of the trainees, and the Deanship of Electronic Transactions and Communications is the decision maker of acceptance or rejection in light of publishing policies.
King Saud University reserves the right to make any amendment to the privacy policy from time to time without the need to provide notice thereof. If you wish to continue using the training platform after making amendments to this privacy policy, this means that you accept these changes published on the current page.
